Abstract

Introduction 

The authors are teachers belonged to the Department of Physical Therapy in the University of Seville. They are interested in analyzing, reflecting and improving their teaching work that is the reason because this work arises.  They think new teachers training is not only a necessity for this collective, but it is also a basic strategy to increase the quality of their teaching. In addiction this is a responsibility of the University as an educational institution.

Objectives

Showing the deficiencies that future teachers find when they start their work.

 Justifying the necessity of providing a specific training to new teaching staff.

Analyzing the main points of some current training programmed in the region of Andalusia.

Material and method
  They are based on telephone inquiries to new teachers who work in the four schools of Physical Therapy in Andalusia. They have used the bibliography as well which refers this topic and their own professional experience.
Final reflections
  -They have checked that the teaching staff collective have got a generalized feeling about the necessity of on initial training.
 - They think it is necessary to start specific training programmers directed to new teachers of Physical Therapy Area.
 - Due to the absence of future teachers training, they are showing the participation in training programmers as the most suitable alternative.
