The study was performed at the Hospital General B^sico de Baza (Baza General Hospital) in Gra¬ nada, Spain, on patients from nearly towns.

Of the 34 patients with spinal pathology treated during the period May 1993 to June 1994, 22 were men and 12 women. Of these, 3 suffered from scoliosis, 4 from kiphosis, 2 from lumbarsciatica and 25 from spinal pain.
