Abstract

The immobility is one of the greater problems of the oldness; it is consequence and cause of di¬
eases and produces multiple physiological changes and complications.
  The oldness is not a disease, even though certain number of elders develop invalitys on account of chronic processes originated by the obsolescence.
  The obsolescence supposes a dynamical process that it is begun in the same moment in which we born and that it is developed throughout our life.
  This work is a study on the different alterations that they can be produced in an elder due to the immobilization (relative or permanent), with respect to their quality of life. Because of this we consi¬
er timely to establish a series of measures that they can improve it.
