Abstract

We present a study of balance mechanisms and their functional exploration. We believe there are a large number of pathologies affecting balance which benefit from treatment whit physiotherapy. For this reason, the physiotherapist should have a thorough knowledge of balance mechanisms in order to provide truly effective treatment and through this knowledge and experience, be able to contribute to the study of so complex function.
