Physiotherapy and the future. ^How do the professionals see it?

Abstract

 The physical therapy is living a revolution where the professional outputs are changing. In the E. U. de Ciencia's de la Salud of Zaragoza is realized a course in economic formation with the purpose that the students have the resources to the managing of their own physical therapy employment in the private companies. An inquiry has been done to the assistants of the course with the following features:

Objectives

To determinate the attitude the students face the Laboral world and to know their opinion concerning the contents and the repercussion of the course in their professional future.

Material and methods

The withdrawal of information was made by an inquiry.

Results

— The majority of the students think that it is necessary to improve the focus of the professions towards the Laboral world.

— A Hight percentage of students answer positively to the questions that inquiry into capacities to confront the Laboral world and to generate their own job.

— It is important for them the training given in the course. The objectives and the programmed are considered majority adequate.

Conclusions

— It is necessary to improve the focus of the career to the Laboral world.

— The students and the future physical therapists face up to positively the Laboral world and the big majority consider the private job the most feasible possibility to develop their profession.

— The students consider the formation imparted in the Economic Course important and adequate.
