Abstract

The masticatory pain is the mor frequently than orofacial pain. In this article, we make a review about the conceptualization, etiology and etiopathogenesis to masticatory pain. So, we use the names to temporomandibular disorder or craniomandibular disorders. In the 20th century, it exits an evolution about the influent evolution disorders to masticatory pain, but this Cause isn't very important today. The temporomandibular joint is the movement hing and to take sth into consideration the joint temporomandibular complex, we analyse the physiologic importance to CPG and muscular engram.
he masticatory pain is a deep somatic orofacial and when ther is pain, there is disfuction.
  There are five categories about the etiology to masticatory pain: protective contraction, local muscular pain, twitching, muscular regional disorder and systemic muscular disorders.
