Abstract

Nowadays, the amount of people in need of physiotherapy is gradually increasing in our society, due to, essentially, the increase of life expectancy. The ever-growing population which seems to be the most susceptible ones to get benefit from our help, are normally above the age of 65.  The main goals of this current study are on one hand, the conceptualization of the ageing factor is carried out. On the other hand, we aimed at elaborating and setting a mobility workshop in motion with the purpose of fomenting and improving the health conditions of our subjects.  The elaboration and the fulfilment of the session was our next step after we had previously carried out an assessment of each of the subjects involved in our research, taking under consideration both an objective and a subjective perspective of itself. At the end of our six-session-workshop, we reassessed them in search of noticeable results.  Finally, and making use of the results and data obtained, we decided to draw our own conclusions:
Basically, we point out that any physical exercise based on a regular schedule and adapted to older people is very likely to increase and improve their life quality.
