Abstract

The systematic review (SR) is defined as a process of systematic and quantitative arrangement of study results, especially in the clinical control trials, to extract conclusions. This follows a rigorous review process, research, analysis of outstanding data and validity, and also the data extraction, their synthesis and interpretation.
The article shows the differences between the literature review and SR, also about their planning, development and identification. Finally, the most used data sources in Physiotherapy are included.
