Abstract

Objectives: the purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of treatment using techniques of Physical therapy in patients with lesions of the shoulder joint as and see if our results are affected by other factors. Methodology: we conducted a prospective observational study in which we have analyzed the evolution of 11 patients affected by diseases related to the glenohumeral joint, treated in the Physiotherapy room of Alto Guadalquivir Hospital of Andújar (Jaén), taking note of the conditions of their pathology at the beginning of treatment and then compare them with the circumstances at the end of it. Results: after the necessary calculations we can say that patients in the physiotherapy room have experienced a significant improvement at the end of treatment (p = 0.0017), qualifying that this improvement is not associated with age or sex of themselves. Conclusions: we observed an improvement in the condition of patients susceptible to pathologies of the shoulder at the end of treatment in the Physiotherapy room, diminishing its symptoms and towards greater independence to carry out their daily activities at the conclusion of the sessions.
